District Reopening Plan Announcement and Townhall Reminder
Dear students, families, and community,
As promised in our update on Tuesday evening, tonight we are sharing with you our district’s Draft Reopening Plan (click here) for your review and feedback.
Our community was clear in wanting options for their children's instructional model during the pandemic. Every family will be able to choose from distance learning, hybrid learning, in-person learning, and independent study for the 2020-2021 school year.
However, due to the recent increases in COVID-19 cases in Santa Clara County, and out of concern for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students, staff, and community, all students will start the school year in distance learning.
Please take some time over the next week to share your thoughts and questions with us through our Draft Reopening Plan Survey (click here) in our Thoughtexchange survey platform. The survey closes on July 15.
Please consider joining us at our upcoming townhalls where you can see district leaders present our reopening plan and answer community questions live.
There are two ways to participate:
- To ask a question or submit feedback during the live session, please participate through our Zoom Webinar.
- To watch the webinar and not interact with the live session, please participate through our YouTube Livestream.
