Santa Clara Unified School District is hosting virtual board meetings in compliance with updated state guidelines during our school closures, and until further notice, due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) situation which is still evolving. Board and Cabinet members are using the Zoom online meeting platform for their virtual meeting and the meeting is being live-streamed to the public using the district’s YouTube account.
Members of the public can participate in public comment periods on the agenda by submitting written comments to www.santaclarausd.org/publiccomment. Consistent with the practice of in-person board meetings, the comment form will be open thirty minutes prior to the meeting and will close when the meeting begins. Submissions should be no longer than two minutes in length to read aloud. Comments will be read by the board president, Dr. Michele Ryan, or by the board secretary, Superintendent Dr. Stella M. Kemp. The public should note that, while we value and want to receive public feedback, board members are prohibited from commenting on or discussing items that are not on our meeting’s agenda. Comments requiring follow up will be directed to staff.
