Volunteerism at its Best

On October 4, a team of 50 NVIDIA staff members — also know as NVIDIANS — split into two teams to volunteer at the Bryan Osborne Nature Area and the district’s pumpkin patch at our farm.

The NVIDIANS assigned to the pumpkin patch harvested tomatoes and pumpkins, arranging the pumpkins into piles for our elementary schools to collect. The group working at the nature area cleared brush, replaced boards on picnic benches, painted sheds, and even painted our newly improved boardwalk — all in preparation for the Bryan Osborne Nature Area’s 50th Anniversary.

The day ended with a delicious lunch catered by our very own Nutrican Servies department.

SCUSD greatly appreciates NVIDIA’s energy and their enthusiasm to flex their volunteer muscles in support of our valuable programs. It’s partnerships like these that help us to achieve our district’s vision, Rising Above in Silicon Valley!
