Thoughtful Students Surprise Superintendent Stan Rose

Superintendent Dr. Rose meets with middle school and high school leadership students four times a year, during his Superintendent's Council. Dr. Rose recently announced he will retire at the end of this school year. At the most recent Superintendent's Council meeting, Santa Clara High School students surprised Dr. Rose with a "thank you" banner filled with thoughtful notes. In response, he said to the entire Superintendent's Council, "I hope at least one of you becomes an educator, a superintendent, a teacher someday. There is no work more important. It has been an honor to be your superintendent."

Dr. Rose will be greatly missed by students and staff alike!
