Our Programs
Infant and Toddler
Beginning at six weeks of age, the Infant and Toddler program provides children with hands-on, developmentally appropriate experiences based on current early childhood education, research, and practice. Children can learn through play, grow at their own pace, and feel valued and secure.
The program has 2, 3, and 5-day schedules, including full-day and part-day options and no-cost, low-cost, and fee-based options. For more information about the schedule and applications, please visit our Infant and Toddler webpage.
Preschool
Starting at age 3, our preschool programs emphasize TK and kindergarten readiness skills, social and emotional development, and physical and creative development in an active participatory learning environment. Children have opportunities to engage in learning opportunities in small and large groups.
The preschools are offered full-day and part-days with options for ten or twelve months during the year. We also offer a parent-participation preschool called Wilson Preschool, where parents and guardians learn together with their children. To learn more, visit our preschool webpage.
Transitional Kindergarten
Our transitional kindergarten (TK) program provides an opportunity for children turning 5 years old between September 2 and April 2 with an optional additional year of high-quality early learning. Participation in the program helps children to be better prepared to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
There is no cost for TK, and it’s offered at various sites throughout the district five days a week. Learn more on our TK webpage.
