Dear SCUSD families,

After the success of the logo and mascot design competition, we are delighted to be announcing the next stage in the build-up to the Santa Clara Unified School District Innovation Expo at Mission College on Saturday, April 8.

define the problem - imagine and ideate - create and prototype - test and iterate - reflect and share solutions

We challenge our students to create a solution that solves a known problem. We encourage innovation, so there are no limits or restrictions on what the project can be, as long as it links to one of the Expo’s “Global Impact Themes” below:

  • STEAM Education
  • Health and Wellness
  • Community Enrichment

Our dedicated Expo website — exposcusd.com — provides more information on all of the challenges, as well as videos to guide students on their design journey.
