Aeries Parent Portal

The Aeries Parent Portal provides year-round online access to student report cards, state testing, and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) test results.
Before the start of school each year, parents must also use the Aeries Parent Portal to complete the Annual Student Information Update (ASIU) which allows families to update emergency contacts, medical information and electronically sign yearly consent forms. After the ASIU window closes, families will need to contact the school directly to make any changes.
Please follow the step-by-step guide below to log in. If you have any technical difficulties accessing the parent portal, email cs@scusd.net.

Log In to Aeries Parent Portal
- Go to the Aeries Parent Portal website
- Log in
- New Users
- If you have not accessed Aeries Parent Portal before, please reference the email sent to you by sis-donotreply@scusd.net at the beginning of the school year with instructions on how to create an account.
- If you did not receive the email please contact technical support.
- Returning Users
- We recommend changing your password at the start of the school year.
- Enter your email address associated with the account and then click the “Forgot Password” link.
- Follow on-screen instructions.

Annual Student Information Update
Before August 5, 2023, all enrolled families must use the Aeries Parent Portal to complete the Annual Student Information Update (ASIU) which allows families to update emergency contacts, medical information and electronically sign yearly consent forms. After the ASIU window closes, families can contact the school directly to make any changes.
Notification
Once logged in to the Aeries Parent Portal Website, follow the steps below to complete the Annual Student Information Update.
- In the bottom right corner, you will see a notification to let you know the Student Data Confirmation (ASIU) process is active
- Select the “Click Here” button to start the data confirmation process
Section 1
Family Information
- Please verify you are updating the information for the correct child.
- You will need to do this for each child in your household
- Later, you will be able to select a different child and update the information
- The first section is the “Family Information”
- Select the option that applies to your US Armed forces status
- Select the option that applies to your household
- “Confirm and Continue” to move to the next section
Section 2
Student Information
- In this section, you will be able to update some basic Student information if needed
- Parent/Guardian name may be used when printing report cards or other correspondence
- Residence and Mailing address changes will require verification
- Primary phone numbers will be used by the school and district to contact families
- Update birth city, state, and country as needed
- Click on Change if any changes are needed. Remember to SAVE after completing the updates
- “Confirm and Continue” to move to the next section
Section 3
Contacts
- In this section, you will be able to update the student contact information if needed
- Click on the pencil image to edit the contact information currently in Aeries
- Check contact information for the mother
- Check contact information for the father
- Update or create a contact who will be reached in case of an emergency
- Add other contacts (close relatives, doctor, dentist, etc.)
- “Confirm and Continue” to move to the next section
Section 4
Medical Information and Current Medical Conditions
- In this section, you will be able to update the Medical History of the student
- If needed, please remove entries that no longer apply to your child
- If anything changed on the current records, please save the information
- If needed, enter the information for the medical situation of your child
- Our nurse team will need to know the date, age, grade, and any other information to provide the best care
- If needed, please save any new information about the medical situation of your child.
- “Confirm and Continue” to move to the next section
Section 5
Documents
- In this section, you can read the documents needed to understand different school policies and rules
- Indicates the name of the document
- Indicates if the document is required or optional
- You will be able to access the document using this link
- Check this box after the document is read
- “Confirm and Continue” to move to the next section
Section 6
Authorizations
- In this section, you can update the Authorizations and Prohibitions if needed
- These are processes or activities that your student will participate in
- For each option, click on “Allow” or “Deny”
- Read the description for each authorization
- Save any changes
- “Confirm and Continue” to move to the next section
Descriptions for each of the “Authorizations and Prohibitions” can be found in the Student and Family Handbook.
Section 7
Final Data Confirmation
- In this section, you can submit all the changes you made
- Your data confirmation process is complete, you can finish the process and/or print a copy of the changes for your records. (Note: you will receive an email message for the changes you made in each section)
- Finish and Submit, after clicking this button you will be able to print a report (Emergency Card) with the changes you made.
- If needed, you can go back to any of the sections and update the information.
Print Emergency Card
- Now you will have the option to print the Emergency Card for your child.
- The report will be in PDF format which can also be saved on your computer for reference.
Emergency Card
- This line shows the student name
- Here is the school the student will be attending
- Address information (Note: this section will not show any new information because the address will need verification. Somebody will contact you for this purpose.)
- Primary parent information
- Contact information
- Medical history information
- Authorizations
Email Notification
- This is an example of the email notification you will receive about the changes you made to the student information
- This is the account that will generate the notifications
- This indicates the section that was modified
- This is the email address of the person who modified the information
Additional Child(ren)
- If you need to update the information for another child, go to the top left-hand corner and select the next student from the dropdown list.
- If the student is not in the dropdown list, please contact technical support
- If there is a student you do not recognize in the dropdown list, please contact technical support

COVID-19 Weekly Screening Testing Consent
To get started, please fill out the consent form with your permission to perform a COVID-19 pooled test for your student. This process should take no more than 5 minutes to complete using a computer or a smartphone.
- Log into the Aeries SCUSD Parent Portal
- Click “Student Info” and choose “Data Confirmation”
- Next, go through the data confirmation steps
- On Step 5 “Documents”, Review the COVID-19 testing consent from
- On Step 6 “Authorizations”, choose to “Allow” or “Deny” COVID-19 testing for your student
- Click “Save” and you’re done!
Notes
- If you need to provide consent for more than one child, please complete the process once for each child.
- Only students with completed consent forms are able to participate in testing. If you do not want your family to participate, your student will not be included in the testing program.

State Test Score Reports
Step 1
- With your mouse cursor, hover over “Test Scores” on the top menu bar
- Click on “State Test Scores Reports”
Step 2
- If your student is going into grades 4 through 9 or grade 12, they will have a score report available under CAASPP
- If your student is an English Learner, they will have a score report available under ELPAC

I have not used Aeries Parent Portal before, how do I set up an account?
- If you have not accessed Aeries Parent Portal before, please reference the email sent to you by sis-donotreply@scusd.net at the beginning of the school year with instructions on how to create an account.

I received my parent portal account information but cannot log on. What should I do?
- If you have reviewed the login instructions provided in the step-by-step guide on the Aeries Parent Portal webpage and cannot log in, please email technical support or text (408) 900-6867.
I forgot my password, what do I do?
- After clicking on the “Forgot Password” link the Aeries Parent will display the Step 1 page which asks you to enter the email account.
- After clicking "Next" this page will generate an email with the password reset information.
- Open your email application, copy and paste the email code in the email verification field of the Step 2 screen (see below).
Is there a mobile app for Aeries?
- Yes, on your mobile device go to your provider's app store and install the "Aeries Mobile Portal."
- You can create an account or click on “Forgot Password” if you already have an account.
What information can I view/update through the parent portal?
- During the Annual Student Information Update (ASIU) window families will be able to update parent/guardian contact information, emergency contacts, student health information, and electronically sign yearly consent forms. If updates need to be made after the ASIU window please contact your child’s school office.
- The Aeries Parent Portal provides year-round online access to student report cards, state testing, and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) test results.
I have more than one child at different schools in the district. Can I use the same parent portal account to update multiple students?
- Yes, additional students will appear in a drop-down menu in your parent account.
I don’t have an email address. How do I update my student’s information?
- The online parent portal is only accessible if you have an email address.
- If you do not have one, all changes to your student’s record must be made in person at your student’s school.
- If you would like assistance creating an email account, please contact our SCUSD Family Resource Center at 408-423-3541.
How do I correct the spelling of my student’s name? I don’t have access to this field via the Parent Portal.
- If your child’s name is spelled incorrectly, please contact your child’s school office so that they can assist you with correcting the name.
- If your child’s name has changed, you will need to provide the school site with a copy of the court document indicating the name change.
Will there be in-person or online tutorials offered on how to use the Parent Portal?
We do not have any tutorials scheduled at this time, but you can visit the Aeries Parent Portal webpage for step-by-step instructions on how to set up your account and access certain areas of the portal.
