Camp Expand

Camp Expand is a full-day summer program that provides engaging enrichment activities. The program operates 9 hours daily, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., from June 9 to July 17. 2026.

The camp will be delivered by our SCUSD Expand providers:

  • SCUSD Extended Learning

  • Boys & Girls Club

  • Right At School

  • YMCA

Cost

No cost for Priority 1 students. A sliding fee scale applies to Priority 2 students

Eligibility

  • Priority 1
    • Foster or Homeless Status 
    • Free or Reduced Lunch Status (To apply for free and reduced meals, go to schoolcafe.com)
  • Priority 2
    • English Language Learner (families may qualify for low or no-cost services based on the sliding fee scale) (An English Language Learning is determined by the English Learner Proficiency Assessment California (ELPAC). The ELPAC is first given within the first 30 days of Kindergarten.)

Currently enrolled TK-5th grade ELOP qualifying students.

Your student will be placed based on space and the location closest to your home school. Please note: Camp locations are tentative and subject to change.

Transportation

Students attending Camp Expand at a location different from their home school may request transportation services.

  • Routes: Transportation runs daily between home schools/designated stops and the host school.

  • Attendance: Students must use the bus consistently or risk losing their spot.

  • Supervision: Parents/guardians must stay with students during morning pickup and be present for afternoon drop-off.

  • Late Policy: Bus service may be revoked after two late pickups.
