Chefs will learn and explore new cooking techniques, kitchen terms, and safe food handling, as well as prepare a full menu of recipes from scratch. These engaging & intensive, week-long courses will have our young chefs ready to wow family and friends with their new culinary skills.
Parents are invited to join us on Friday afternoons for “Family Friday” to enjoy a sampling of these delicious menus!

- Recipes Reimagined: Young chefs will take these well known recipes and transform them into something different! Think Mac-n-Cheese as a burger patty, a burrito filled with fries & chili! Why drink your hot cocoa when you can eat it as a cookie instead! Recipes Include:
- Hot Cocoa Cookies, S’Mores Pizza & Cinnamon Roll Pancakes
- Cheeseburger Soup & Chili Cheese Fries Burrito
- Cottage Pie Baked Potatoes & Mac-n-Cheese Sliders
- Fruit Salsa & Apple Chips
- Advanced Pastry Arts: Young bakers will take basic sugar cookies to new heights by using intricate royal icing designs. They will also be using advanced cake techniques to turn traditional cakes into exciting new cake trends. Recipes Include:
- Royal Icing Decorated Sugar Cookies
- Top Forward Cakes
- Patterned Swiss Roll
- Crepe Cake
- SSBT's Greatest Hits: Young chefs will have a chance to make some of our favorite recipes from summers past. Wait until you see what we will be making with our ever popular, delicious & flakey pie crust! Recipes Include:

- Decorated Sugar Cookies & French Silk Pie
- Wonton Soup & Scallion Pancakes
- Snack Mix & Lemon Cupcakes
- Around the World: Young chefs will take a food tour around the world, from South America to Asia with a few stops along the way. Recipes Include:
- Chicken and Chorizo Paella & Brazilian Cheese Bread
- Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam & Sausage Rolls
- Greek Chicken Kabobs with Tzatziki Sauce & Turkish Poached Apricots
