Early Learning

Early Learning - various kids from the SCUSD early learning program

SCUSD provides programs for children ages 6 weeks to entry into TK/Kindergarten, onsite at elementary school campuses throughout the district.

We believe that all families deserve access to quality early education and supportive services that will promote children's healthy development and future success. We are dedicated to creating positive change, taking an active role in early education issues at the local, county, and statewide level to support children, parents, and early education providers.

Purpose

SCUSD is dedicated to excellence for all children by providing a safe and healthy learning environment based on developmentally appropriate practices. Our programs respect family diversity, uniqueness, foster self-esteem and personal growth for students, families, and staff.

The purpose of the programs is to provide an environment in which children can thrive, offering "hands-on," researched based curriculum where children can learn through activity and play; grow at their own pace, and ensure children attend school eager and excited to learn.

Application

All families who wish to participate in either the Early Learning programs in the 2023-2024 school year must submit a common application form. Upon the completion of submitting this form, you will be contacted when a space becomes available to enroll your child.
