COVID-19 Safety Guidance and Plans

We follow California Department of Public Health (CDPH) K-12 Guidance for the 2022-2023 School Year as outlined in our SCUSD COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan.

Families who wish to keep their children in full distance learning may enroll in our Independent Study Program.

We follow Santa Clara County Public Health Department (SCCPHD) protocols for communicating public health instructions for various covid-related scenarios. Below is a link to the decision tree that illustrates the isolation, quarantine, and testing guidelines implemented in SCUSD.

SCUSD strives to maintain all health and safety protocols at our school campuses and offices. While we know that there is a learning curve for all of our students and staff, please let us know of any repeated or prolonged instances of non-compliance to our established guidelines (as outlined in our COVID-19 Health and Safety Plan), and we will bring this to the appropriate school or department administrator's attention.
