Virtual Mental Health Supports

In our ongoing commitment to support the well-being of all students, we are excited to share virtual mental health support for students and families.

TBH - To Be Honest

To Be Honest (TBH) offers one-on-one coaching support with licensed therapists, available to support the development of skills to manage typical teen challenges (i.e. peer relationships, self-esteem, academic stress, stress management).  High School students can access coaching services via self-referral and middle school students need parental consent (aligned with California's ethical and legal standards for minor consent).  We have partnered with TBH to monitor Securly alerts (see below).

Please take a moment to learn more about tbh by watching this welcome video and creating an online tbh account to access resources.

Online Security for All Students

The district also has a partnership with Securly, a cloud-based web filter designed specifically for schools to monitor all students’ online usage of district devices. Securly employs a combination of algorithms and human review to determine the severity level of each alert.  Their monitoring system notifies the district and families directly when a district-issued device is used for online activity that raises serious safety concerns, such as bullying, mental health crises, or violence. TBH will provide after-hours support in response to high-level Securly alerts. This collaboration enables a prompt and appropriate response to such critical incidents.
