The Centers for Disease Control provides education and resources in an effort to stop overdoses 

SCUSD has partnered with Project Eden, a branch of Horizon Treatment Services, to provide prevention and early intervention support to students at MacDonald, Santa Clara, and Wilcox High Schools. They also refer for higher levels of treatment as needed.   

SCUSD has partnered with YVAPE, a FREE educational intervention program that serves as an alternative to suspension, providing phone and video coaching support to students who have been found with nicotine or marijuana at school. YVAPE is currently available to all middle and high school students.
