LGBTQ Resources

Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) is committed to creating safe and welcoming learning environments for each and every student. To promote spaces of belonging and inclusivity for all students, SCUSD is dedicated to developing and affirming comprehensive policies, practices, systems, and structures that support the needs and interests of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQQIA+) students.
SCUSD also supports:
- Staff training on LGBTQQIA+ topics, in partnership with local and national experts and organizations
- Support of site LGBTQIA+ Clubs/Genders & Sexualities Alliance Clubs (GSA’s)
- Use of a Name/Gender Change Form
- Development of Student Support/Transition Plans
- Mental Health Services and Referrals
