Student Services Stories
One of Santa Clara's MTSS-B coaches, Christi Tapia, presented at the 2023 PBIS Leadership Forum in Chicago, IL October 2023. With national experts and well-known researchers, Christi presented how the SCUSD PBIS/MTSS-B work has evolved over the years since we first entered into a nationally randomized study in 2015. She highlighted the classroom practice walkthrough system, which has been an integral part of SCUSD's implementation of evidence-based tier 1 classroom practices for the past 8 years. It was a thrill to have our work recognized at the national level, as we continue to help SCUSD sites implement systems to support all students, holistically.
