Aspiring School Leader Series

The Aspiring Administrative Leaders Academy is designed to equip current teacher leaders with the skills and knowledge to successfully transition to a vice principalship or other administrative role. Academy participants receive in-depth training on how to be a successful instructional leader focusing on topics including facilitating standards-based instruction, leading school teams and learning from SCUSD experienced administrators. Participants will also practice interview skills for possible administrative positions. All learning experiences will align with Santa Clara Unified Essential Leadership Standards. This Academy is designed for any certificated staff member who is interested or seeking a future administrative leadership role and is a great opportunity before enrolling in the LEAP cohort.
