Multilingual, Migrant, and Federal Programs

Multilingual Migrant and federal programs

Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) seeks to empower all community members to be part of the construction of our future. As we place students first as a guiding principle for our actions, SCUSD embraces the linguistic diversity present in our student body and families.

Approximately one-quarter of our student population is at some time, designated as English learners, with thousands of others who have been reclassified or still speak another language at home. The implications are clear and ours to act upon: Multilingualism is at the heart of our district and our plans and actions must cherish this treasure, as it opens a pathway to a global future.
