Safe Routes to School

The Santa Clara Unified School District proudly continues its partnership with the Cities of Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, and San Jose’s Safe Routes to School Programs to make traveling to school safer and more enjoyable. Our Elementary and Middle Schools host dynamic events like Bicycle Rodeos and Walk and Bike to School Days, designed to empower students with essential pedestrian and bicycle safety skills. October is National Pedestrian Safety Month, and our district encourages students to walk, bike, and roll safely to school. Please review the flyer for important safety tips to help keep your child safe on their way to and from school.
