Safe Routes to School
The Santa Clara Unified School District proudly partners with the Cities of Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, and San Jose to advance Safe Routes to School initiatives that promote safe, accessible, and active transportation. By working together, we strive to create safer travel experiences for students and families throughout our school communities.
Back-to-School Safety
As students return to school, families are encouraged to review these important safety reminders for walking, biking, scootering, and traveling by vehicle. The flyers also include tips for safe drop-off and pick-up procedures to help ensure a safe start to the school year.
School Walking Maps
Walking maps are available for select schools within the District. Families are encouraged to review their school's map, when available, to help plan the safest route to and from campus.
