Enrollment Projections
Enrollment projections for the SCUSD are completed in December or January for the following five years. The analysis includes determining the number of students who attend SCUSD schools from existing types of housing: multifamily, below market rate, single-family, and townhomes/condominiums. The ratio of students per residential unit is then used to predict the number of students who will be generated from planned residential projects within the SCUSD Attendance Boundaries.
The District tracks all upcoming planned residential and commercial developments in order to anticipate future student growth in each of the District's schools.
