Facility Development and Planning
The Facility Development and Planning Department develops the District’s long-range capital improvement strategic master plans.
It also participates in any potential real estate acquisitions and the environmental analysis of potential, future, and existing sites by complying with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The Department works with developers to assist with growth projections districtwide and identifies the need for school expansion or new site development. Facility Development and Planning coordinates facility leases with third parties and joint use opportunities.
If you need to contact the Maintenance, Operations, and Grounds Department, please visit the Maintenance and Operations webpage.
District Facility Master Plans
The District has started a district-wide facility conditions assessment, site-specific facility master plans, and an analysis of all support staff and their office locations. By the end of 2023, the District plans to have all school sites master planned. For information on each current facility master plan, please click on the link on the left side of the webpage. If a school is not listed, we have not yet started the facility master plan process. Visit our Master Plans webpage for details.
