Cal Grant GPA Opt-Out

Under California law, public high schools automatically submit graduating seniors' grade point averages (GPAs) to the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) by October 1st for Cal Grant consideration. Students or parents can opt out using this form, but doing so makes the student ineligible for a Cal Grant. The consequences of opting out mean possible Loss of Aid because CSAC will not receive your verified high school GPA, making you ineligible for a state Cal Grant.
