Westwood Elementary Modernization

Project Updates as of June, 2026:

The Work is divided into phases beginning with site work summer 2025. Work will extend into the 2025-26 school year:

• New multipurpose building with full kitchen, indoor/outdoor stage.
• New lunch court between the kitchen-serving area and the multipurpose room. The lunch court is open under the building roof with skylights, preserving the existing access pathway through the campus.
• The indoor/outdoor stage opens to the playground.
• New parking lot and drives fronting Saratoga Avenue.

• Standing seam metal roofing on the office, library, and kindergarten wing will be completed this summer. 
• The building occupancy is expected in December.  
• The Verkada security and access systems are being integrated into the project. 
• Building demolition and parking lot construction will take place in Summer 2027.
