Santa Clara and Wilcox High School Pool Modernizations

The project will Modernize the swimming pool, restroom and site accessibility at Santa Clara and Wilcox High Schools. This includes replaster and replace tiles in the pool, replace pool deck, create ADA entry with stairs, add a lift to the pool, replace underwater lighting, timing systems, PA speakers, diving boards, starting blocks, new pool cover, upgrade ADA path of travel, and install ADA accessible bleachers. 

Project Updates as of February, 2026:

• The pool deck has been demolished, and the pool plaster has been removed. 
• Significant reinforcing corrosion has been discovered. Repair procedures have been 
  developed which are being reviewed by DSA for approval before work can begin. 
• Repair costs will likely exceed the project budget. Program contingency reserves are 
  available to cover the excess costs. 
• The Wilcox High School Project will commence at the completion of the Santa Clara High 
  School project. DSA permits have been issued.
