Santa Clara and Wilcox High School Pool Modernizations

The project will Modernize the swimming pool, restroom and site accessibility at Santa Clara and Wilcox High Schools. This includes replaster and replace tiles in the pool, replace pool deck, create ADA entry with stairs, add a lift to the pool, replace underwater lighting, timing systems, PA speakers, diving boards, starting blocks, new pool cover, upgrade ADA path of travel, and install ADA accessible bleachers. 

Project Updates as of June, 2026:

• Santa Clara High School Pool Upgrades
  • Ceramic tile is underway. 
  • Underground obstructions are hampering installation of light poles and shade structures. 
  • Project completion will extend into the summer. 
• Wilcox High School Pool Upgrades
  • Work will begin after graduation. 
  • Demolition will take place over the summer, mitigating disruption from noise and dust  
  • The work area is bounded by buildings on all sides.  
  • Because of limited access, the pool modernization work must be substantially completed before the restroom building can commence.
