New Laurelwood Elementary School

The project will construct a new elementary school at the former Patrick Henry Intermediate School located at 1095 Dunford Way, Sunnyvale, CA including new single-story classroom buildings, multipurpose and administration buildings.The school is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2026.

Project Updates as of April, 2026:

The Project is being implemented in phases:
- Off-site development (utilities and street improvements) phases one and two.
- Increment 1: Site Grading and Underground Utilities.
- Increment 2: Building and Site Construction.
Interior drywall and finishes are underway
Parking lot construction is underway
PG&E is still working on the new electrical service
New sidewalks on Teal Drive are complete
The school is on track to open in August 2026
