Briarwood Elementary Modernization

Project Updates as of April 2026:

The Work is divided into phases beginning with site work summer 2025. Work will extend into the 2025-26 school year. All projects phases will be completed by the end of 2026:

New parking lot and drives.
Two new classrooms buildings with six classrooms and support spaces.
New preschool/K playground with shade.

The building steel shell is erected. Supports for roof solar panels are visible.
Interior partition framing is underway.
Plumbing, mechanical and electrical rough-in has started.
Roofing will begin shortly.
Contracts have been awarded for the Townsend Avenue street improvements.
