Step 1: Log In

1. Log in to ParentSquare

• If you have logged into ParentSquare before, you may need to reset your password by clicking the “Forgot Password” link if you cannot recall your password.
• If this is your first time logging into ParentSquare, you received an email at the beginning of the school year with instructions on creating your account. If you have not received the email, please contact technical support at cs@scusd.net.

Step 2: Report Cards

1. On the bottom toolbar, select Alerts. 
2. Locate the document you want to view and click View Document. Secure document notices are marked by a page with a lock icon. 
3. Sign in again to securely view the selected document.

Step 3: Siblings

1. You should see all of your children in one ParentSquare account. If you are missing a child/school, it may be because:

• You have more than one ParentSquare account with different contact information.
• Your contact information is inconsistent across the schools' student information systems. 
• If you need help, please contact your school(s) directly to update your contact information.

Aries Parent Portal

After 5 p.m. on the report card release date, families may view report cards (past and present) through the Aeries Parent Portal. For step-by-step instructions on how to access report cards through Aeries, visit our Aeries Parent Portal webpage.

If you have technical difficulties accessing ParentSquare or the Aeries Parent Portal, email cs@scusd.net. If you have questions regarding your child’s report card, please contact your child's teacher.

In the 2022-2023 school year, SCUSD will be transitioning from using School Loop to take advantage of Aeries gradebook for all grade reporting. We have used Aeries as our student information system (SIS) for 13 years in SCUSD, so this will be an easy transition for students, families, and staff. Among the many benefits, Aeries allows for better communication between the Aeries and Google Classroom. Aeries gradebook will also allow for greater flexibility for our teachers to assess and report progress on standards and the core competencies outlined in our SCUSD Graduate Portrait. We spent the spring building the capacity of in-house trainers in SCUSD and will be training our teachers and site staff throughout the fall. There will be more information to come that will help inform you on how to access your student's information once the semester begins.
