Innovation Expo Logo and Mascot Design Competition Update
The expo team was so impressed with all of the fantastic entries for the Innovation Expo Design Competition that it was hard to choose just one winner — so we didn’t. Instead, our final logo and mascot will be a collaborative work with concepts adapted from multiple designs to create cohesive imagery representing student voice and district values.

Over $83K Raised to Support SCUSD Schools
On November 29, 2022, our district and the surrounding SCUSD community participated in Giving Tuesday — our most significant single day of funding yet! Thanks to our partnership with the Santa Clara Schools Foundation and the double your donation initiative through DonorsChoose, together, we funded 108 classroom projects for a value of $83,118.98.

After the Storm — Coping with the Aftermath of a Natural Disaster
With the frequency of recent storms and the massive amount of rain that has fallen, parts of the Bay Area have been experiencing floods and other weather-related damage. Once the immediate threat is over, there may be some residual emotional trauma as the damage is assessed and the process of rebuilding or moving forward begins.
