  • District Statement and Reopening Plan Update

The district is entering the final stages of design and consultation on back-to-school schedule options that take into account health and safety requirements, educational quality, and the need for family choice. All families will be able to choose the all virtual learning option, which will be improved based on feedback we received from our students, families, and staff about our distance learning program in the spring. For families who do not choose the all-virtual learning option, we will likely start the first weeks of school with the majority of our students in the hybrid learning option.

Using your feedback, planning continues for reopening the 2020-2021 school year. Our goal is to go into the next school year with a plan that offers families options and is flexible and adaptive to the realities of the COVID-19 pandemic, while also providing high-quality instruction to students as safely as possible.

  • Superintendent Kemp's Weekly Update

As we finish up our last week of the 2019-2020 school year, this is my last weekly message while we break for summer. I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to our students, families, and staff for your patience, grace, and dedication to persevere through these last 10 weeks with us. It hasn’t been easy — there have been many transitions for everyone along the way — but we rose to the challenge together as one community. We can all be proud.
