The SCUSD Innovation Expo is less than six weeks away, and we’re super excited. I’m sure by now you’ve seen our mascot, Luna the Turtle, and the Expo logo that reflects sustainability, big thinking, and well-being.

After the success of the logo and mascot design competition, we are delighted to be announcing the next stage in the build-up to the Santa Clara Unified School District Innovation Expo at Mission College on Saturday, April 8.

Innovation Expo Logo and Mascot Design Competition Update
The expo team was so impressed with all of the fantastic entries for the Innovation Expo Design Competition that it was hard to choose just one winner — so we didn’t. Instead, our final logo and mascot will be a collaborative work with concepts adapted from multiple designs to create cohesive imagery representing student voice and district values.

Save the Date for Innovation Expo 2023
We are excited to announce this year’s districtwide expo to showcase some of our students' work — Innovation Expo 2023. Formerly known as STEAM Expo, Innovation Expo is an evolution into an annual celebration of creativity and big thinking. The Expo will celebrate what it is to be innovative and how we embrace innovation here at Santa Clara Unified School District. Based on some of the world’s best expos, we will be bringing an authentic experience to our school community.
