Santa Clara Unified School District is developing state-of-the-art facilities for a 600 student elementary school, 1,000 student middle school, and 1,600 student high school on a 55-acre site located at 3500 Zanker Road in San Jose. The schools will address the ever-growing student population in the district.

Site Visit June 2019
The Board of Trustees, Superintendent Dr. Stella M. Kemp, retired Superintendent Dr. Stanley Rose, Assistant Superintendent Kevin Keegan, Assistant Superintendent Andrew Lucia, Chief Business Official Eric Dill, and bond projects and public relations staff visit the construction site on May 24, 2019.

The Board of Trustees voted on January 16 to name the new schools Abram Agnew Elementary School, Dolores Huerta Middle School, and Kathleen MacDonald High School.
With community feedback from meetings in September, the Board of Trustees decided to delay opening the elementary and middle schools to fall 2021. The high school will open, as planned, in fall 2022. Details on our Agnews Enrollment webpage.
