New After School Extended Day Program
Learn more about a new and exciting after school extended day program that will be available to your student(s) to participate in this spring. Starting March 13, 2023, the pilot program will be available as an option for all TK-6th grade students enrolled at Agnew, Braly, Laurelwood, and Westwood elementary schools and Huerta Middle School.

New Faces and New Places
It is our pleasure to inform you of a couple of new appointments to the SCUSD leadership team. At the May 25 Board of Trustees meeting, it was announced that Danielle Metz will be the new principal of Braly Elementary School and Maria Posas will be the new vice principal at Santa Clara High School.

Lori Garmany Receives Follow Your Bliss Award
Congratulations to Callejon Paraprofessional Lori Garmany who was recently awarded a Follow Your Bliss Award. Each year, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of California at Berkeley and 49ers consultant Dr. Harry Edwards, the 49ers Foundation, and the Micron Foundation collaborate to recognize 10 local educators for their “superlative achievement in teaching.”
